The Lettered edition is published in two volumes and is a “Pixel” binding, with hot foil stamping on the covers. The Pixel binding is a novel binding structure developed by Ben Elbel in which the boards and spine are made up of multiple squares which hinge together resulting in a semi-flexible cover with excellent opening of the text-block. Three foil colors are used, and where they overlap, new colors emerge. The bindings feature leather headbands and suede-like flyleaves. The title, section divider and colophon pages are printed letterpress on Hahnemühle Bugra with gold foil stamping. The edition is printed offset on premium laid paper and is housed in a large quarter buffalo clamshell enclosure with a rounded spine and multicolor foil lettering.
